Make important knowledge stand out with Campaigns. Choose your audience, schedule a campaign, and highlight it on the dashboard, through a one-time login pop-up, or in Knowledge Sharing.
Use Campaigns for time-sensitive topics such as urgent training, product updates, seasonal learning, compliance topics, or campaign initiatives đ˘
Setting up Campaigns
Campaigns draw attention to important learning for a limited time. You can target everyone or selected Circles, schedule when the campaign runs, and choose how learners see it.
Platform Owners have default access to Campaigns. To grant admin access to Campaigns for other permission roles activate the Permission setting "Campaigns".
Create a campaign
Go to Manage and select Campaigns.
Select Create.
Add a clear campaign name and description so learners understand the purpose and expected outcome.
Set the campaign's start date and time and end date and time.
Add a mobile cover image in a 1:1 ratio and a desktop cover image in a 3:1 ratio.
Select one Learning path or Event for the campaign.
Choose the audience. You can make the campaign public or target one or more Circles.
Choose one or more display options:
Dashboard card: Show the campaign at the top of the learner dashboard while it is live.
Login prompt: Show the campaign once when a learner first opens the platform after the campaign starts.
Sharing post: Automatically create a post in Sharing when the campaign starts. The post is published as the platform and includes the campaign title, description, image, and a link to the attached content.
Review the details and save the campaign.
Manage the display order
If learners are included in more than one live campaign, you can control which campaign appears first.
Go to Manage and select Campaigns.
Open the three-dot menu next to Create.
Select Manage display order.
Arrange the live and planned campaigns in the order you want learners to see them.
If you do not set a custom order, campaigns with the newest start date appear first.
Good to know
The selected Learning path or Event is available to the target audience while the campaign is active.Campaign learning is temporary and is not treated as mandatory learning.
When the campaign ends, the learning is removed from the campaign audience.
If learners are also assigned through a journey or invited to an event they keep access to the content. If they need continued access to the content, assign it through a Journey and use the campaign to highlight it during the relevant period.
Only one campaign login prompt is shown at a time. If several campaigns have started since the learner last opened the platform, the next campaign is shown on a later login according to the display order.
When campaign content is removed from a learner, Knowbot no longer uses that content for the learner.
Campaigns are part of the Knowledge Module (package).
A live campaign is not editable - but soon to be added
