Text-to-speech: Listen to your learning modules on the go, and make your learning materials more accessible.

The text-to-speech feature allows learners to listen to your learning modules instead of reading them. This can be helpful for learners who are busy, on-the-go, or have visual impairments.

How to use the text-to-speech feature:

  1. Open the learning module that you want to enable text-to-speech on

  2. Navigate to settings -> general and toggle Immersive reader on

Benefits of using the text-to-speech feature:

  • Learners can listen to the learning modules while they are doing other things, such as working, commuting, or exercising.

  • Learners can focus on the content of the learning modules instead of having to worry about reading the text.

  • Learners with visual impairments can access the learning modules.

What learners will see:

  • A small "listen/audio" icon next to the text

  • When the user clicks on the icon, the text will be read aloud
