Module design theme

Add a theme to the module to make every slide pop from the beginning!

This feature allows you to set a visual theme for the entire module🎨

To find the 'Theme' feature, you need to go to the Module Maker → create a module → go to settings and pick Theme.

Below, you find a list of all styling options.

Styling options

  1. Slides background colour
This will set a default background colour for all new slides and change the background colour for existing slides for which no specific background colour has been set.

Example: The module has some slides with the background colour set to green and some slides with no background colour selected. When in the Theme setting, the background colour is set to grey, then the green slides remain green, and the slides with no previous background colour will be changed to a grey background.

If you are in the mood for something a bit more lively, you can also pick an image to be the background for all the slides in the module. Simply click on the arrow to find the option and then drag your wanted picture into the box. Lastly, you can play around with the transparency of the image.

To find out how your picture looks on all devices, we advise you to check it out in the preview of the module before publishing the module.

  2. Heading font
This will set the heading font for all Heading text elements in all slides. It impacts new and existing content, given that the existing content has been using default formatting.

  3. Default heading size
This will determine a default heading size for all the new slides in the module. This will not change heading sizes for any existing content.

  4. Heading colour
This will set the heading colour for all Heading text elements in all slides. It impacts new and existing content, given that the existing content has been using default formatting.

  5. Paragraph font
This will set the paragraph font for paragraph text elements (instead of heading text) in all slides. It impacts both new and existing content using default formatting, including slide instructions and image captions.

  6. Paragraph colour
This will set the paragraph colour for paragraph text elements (instead of Heading text) in all slides. It impacts both new and existing content using default formatting, including slide instructions and image captions.

When editing the theme, you can always see a preview of the colours and fonts at the bottom of the screen.
