Please carefully read the following to make sure you fulfill all the requirements to set up the integration:

  • Your account has the "Admin" or the "Owner" role.
    1. Log into your company's Remote instance, and click on the ellipsis icon on the bottom left corner of the screen:


    2. Click on "Account preferences" in the popup menu:


    3. If the "Role" displayed on the "Account details" tab under the "Account preferences" page is not "Admin" or "Owner", it means that you do not have admin access to your Remote instance.

    • Find out who has the "Admin" or "Owner" role in your company's Remote instance, and ask them to assign you to the "Admin" role or take over the setup process.




Creating an API key

  1. Log into Remote.

  2. Navigate to the the sidebar on the left side of the screen, and click on "Integrations" under the "COMPANY" section:

  3. Locate the card with the title "Remote API", and click on "Manage API":

  4. Navigate to the top right corner of the screen, and click on "Generate API token":


  5. Enter a name of your choice for your in the popup, then click on "Generate":

  6. You should be able to see your newly generated API token with name of what you have just entered:

  7. Click on the ellipsis icon on the right side of the row:


  8. Click on "Copy token" in the popup to copy your newly generated token:
