Alternative user and department integration - file import guidelines

Didn't find what you were looking for in the Integration Hub? Don't worry; here's an alternative option with SFTP (file integration).

What is File Integration?

File integration involves providing a file in a specific format to an online storage location, such as an SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) server. This allows another system, like ours, to retrieve and import the file.

​User File Import

Any data contained within the file will be imported for the user file import.

Department File Import

In the case of department file import, existing departments within the platform are not deleted. Instead, the file updates and organises them as necessary.

Next steps

1. If this is your preferred integration, reach out to support to get the right file format.

2. Then, you must fill in the file and upload it to the SFTP server.
   ​

3. Just reach out, and we'll set up the server for you. You'll get a link to access it. We then import this file into your platform through the server. Whenever you update the file, you also update the user or department information in the platform.
   ​
