Prerequisites

Before getting started, please carefully read the following to make sure you fulfill all requirements for the integration to work:

• You should have "Admin Access" to your SmartRecruiters instance.
  If your account does not have the assigned User role of "Admin" you won't be allowed to create the necessary credentials.

1. Log into SmartRecruiters and go to "Settings" in the top right corner:

   

2. Ensure that your account is labled with "Admin Access" underneath your account name:

   

Generate your API credentials

1. Log into your SmartRecruiters tenant

2. Open the "Credentials" tab. You can find it by doing the following:

   1. Go to "Settings / Admin"
      ​

      

   2. Click on "Apps & Integrations"

      

   3. Switch over to the "Credentials" tab

      

3. Click on "New Credential"

   

4. Select OAuth as the credential type and click "Next"

   

5. Enter a name and a description for the new credentials and scroll down to the scopes selection

   

6. Now you have to select the right scopes for the credentials:

   1. Go to this page in the connection flow to see the list of needed scopes

      This is just an example, to see the scopes that are required for you, open the connection flow yourself
      ​

   2. For each of the scopes, go into SmartRecruiters, search for the field with the right value in the "Scope" field (i.e. candidate_read) and select it

      

   3. Now repeat this process for each of the other scopes

7. Once you are done with all scopes, go to the bottom of the page and click "Generate"

   

8. Copy the new credentials and paste them into the connection flow

9. Then click on "Continue"
