What is a Tag?

Tags are labels that you can add to your modules in the Module Maker. Tags can help you create an overview of your learning content so that you can search out the learning you need as a content creator.

We recommend that you use tags to categorise your different modules to make it easy for you and the users to get an overview of your learning content and find what you are looking for.

In the short video below, we give you a brief introduction to the feature🎬

Create new Tags

Before you can add any Tags to your content, you need to make them first. This is done by hovering over the Learning tab in the side menu and selecting Tags. Here you her meet with your previously made ones - if you have any, and also a search bar and a + Create button in the top right corner to add a new one, you click here.

Creating one is simple - you only have to create a name in less than 100 characters.

When you are happy with the one you have created, click save to add it to the list of tags.

Manage Tags

At one point, you might have created so many that it can be hard to scroll through them all. In this case, you can use the search bar to find what you need. If you need to delete or edit any of them, you do that by clicking the three dots on the right-hand side.

In the Module Maker, you can filter module overview using tags. To see all the tags and search, click the Tag section in the top menu, and a drop-down menu will appear. You can apply the Tags to your filter by making the selected ones and finish by clicking Apply.

Now only modules with specific tags are shown in the overview.

How to add a Tag to a module

Tags can be added to a module while you create it. However, it can also always be added to an already published module by clicking edit and following the same steps.

  1. Go to the module settings and pick the General tab.

  2. Click +Add tags and select those fitting the content you are creating.

There are no limitations to how many you can add to a module, so you can use all of them you want! If you pick one you regret, click the "x" to remove it again.
