Use Case: Starting a new job can be overwhelming, especially when there are many tasks to complete on the first day. To help new employees transition smoothly, you can incorporate digital checklists within your learning paths to automatically assign a checklist that guides them through their first-day activities. This ensures that important steps are not overlooked and that the new hire feels supported from day one.

Solution: For this case, the "First Workday Checklist" is designed to provide new employees with a clear, step-by-step guide to completing all essential tasks on their first day. This checklist is automatically assigned and connected to their learning activities, making it easy to stay organized and track progress.

  • While the employee completes the tasks in the checklist, the manager can easily follow their progress under My Team.

  • The name of the checklist bullet is the only mandatory field, but you also have the option to add a deadline, description, or attach a file if needed.

Example - First Workday Checklist:

  1. Get introduction from manager: Meet your manager to discuss your role, responsibilities, and expectations for your new position.

  2. Get keycard and salary number: Visit HR to collect your office keycard and receive your salary number to ensure access and payroll setup.

  3. Join Facebook group "My Company": Join the company’s official Facebook group to connect with colleagues, stay updated, and engage with the company culture.

  4. Complete my first week learning path: Make sure to allocate time to complete your first learning path this week. This ensures you're on track with required training.

For this case, by using the "First Workday Checklist," new employees can smoothly transition into their roles with clear guidance and support, ensuring they complete all necessary tasks efficiently and effectively. This structured approach enhances productivity, reduces onboarding time, and sets the stage for a successful tenure at the company.
