Branding: Global Content Themes

Style your learning modules with a single click

Keep your modules looking sharp and on-brand with minimal effort. Global Content Themes make it easy to create a consistent look across all your learning content so you can focus on what matters most.

With branding your platform, you can also make your Global Content Themes.

Global Content Themes

Global Content Themes lets you set up branding guidelines that can be applied to your modules with a single click. This means your content creators can easily select pre-designed content themes, keeping everything on brand without starting from scratch.

Start using Global Content Themes

In the Organization tab of your platform, navigate to Branding to create and manage your global content themes. These content themes are then available for use in the module maker, simplifying the design process and ensuring visual consistency.

  • Administrators with Branding Permission enabled:

    • Create, edit, and delete Global Content Themes under the Branding section.

    • Access and manage content themes both in Branding and the Module Maker for convenience.

  • Content Creators with Module Maker Permission enabled:

    • Choose from a library of pre-defined Global Content Themes within the Module Maker.

    • Apply selected content themes to your modules with a single click.

Customise and Create Content Themes

Design your content themes based on criteria like topics, departments, or target audiences. Each theme offers customisation options including colours, heading sizes, fonts, and more, with a preview feature to ensure alignment with your branding.

😎 Future Enhancements: Soon, you'll be able to upload and use custom fonts, providing even more flexibility to match your branding.

Content Theme Management

  • Deleting Content Themes: Themes in use cannot be deleted. The platform will show which modules are using the theme so you can update them before deletion.
  • Updating Content Themes: You can update content themes, and changes will automatically apply to all modules using that content theme.

Using Content Themes

Once you’ve saved your Global Content Themes, your content creators can select them in the module maker. They simply choose the desired module type, go to Module Settings, and select the appropriate content theme for their content.

You can read more on theme here: "Module design theme".

Change Theme
  • Update Theme from one to another: You can easily switch between your content themes, and it'll apply automatically to the modules once published.
Best Practices
  • Topics and Areas: Tailor your content themes to specific topics or areas, such as Compliance, Customer Service, or Product Training. For global companies, adapt your content themes to reflect regional identities. This ensures each module aligns with its purpose, enhancing relevance and impact.
  • Content Theme Names: Clearly name your content themes to indicate their intended use, helping content creators quickly find the right theme.
With Global Content Themes, your content will not only look great but also maintain a unified and professional appearance.
