To help keep both users and managers informed, you can enable notifications for different certificate-related activities. Explore each communication option below!

Expired certificate reminder
With this communication enabled, if a certificate has expired, an administrator can manually trigger a reminder to notify the user that it needs to be renewed.
You can manually trigger this reminder by going to Track -> Certifications, opening the relevant certificate, and clicking the mail icon next to the user's name in the overview.

Certificates added by Admin
What if a certificate is manually added to a user's profile and you want to notify the user about it? Enable this option, and the user will receive a notification informing that the certificate has been added to their profile.
Certificates renewed by Admin
With this option enabled, a notification is sent to the user when a certificate on their profile is renewed.
To renew a certificate manually, go to the Certificates tab in the user's profile and click Renew period. Once the certificate's expiry date is successfully renewed and updated, the user will automatically receive a notification informing them of the renewal.
Quick tip💡 You can view the complete change history for each certificate in the user profile, including when it was manually renewed. Simply expand "View change history" to see the details.
Certificate removed by Admin
When toggled on, users receive a notification whenever a certificate is manually removed from their profile.
Certificate added by User
When a user adds a certificate to their own profile, a notification is sent to their manager.
Good to know💭
This notification is based on Direct management user access. Users with this access will receive the notification when someone from their team adds a certificate to their own profile.
Certificate renewed by User
Similarly, when a user renews a certificate on their own profile, a notification is sent to the manager.
