Case 1. You have created the module in the platform language, and now it needs to be translated into other languages.
There are 2 options to do this✌️
Option 1. Manually adding the translations
Go to the module, and if it is published, click Edit.
Select Settings in the top-right corner and go to the tab Languages. (Alternatively, click the language label in the top-right corner and choose Manage languages.)
Add new languages by clicking Add language.
Select the wanted languages and click Apply.
Return to the module.
Select the new language from the language drop-down in the top right corner.
Add the translations to each slide.
Remember to publish the module when done.
Option 2. Importing the translations
Find the module and click Edit.
Select Settings from the top-right corner and go to the tab Languages. (Alternatively, click the language label in the top-right corner and choose Manage languages.)
Under Import & Export languages, click Export translation file.
Choose the wanted language(s) and click Export translation file.
It is essential you do not make any changes to the module nor click on Publish before importing the translated text.
Open the file and add the translations in the respective column.
Go back to the module (which remains in Edit mode).
Go back to language settings (see step 2).
Click Import translated text and upload the file containing the translations.
The translated content is now added in the module's respective language version.
Remember to publish the module when done.
Good to know 🧠
When a slide is missing a translation, the default language will be used as a fallback, meaning the user will see this slide in the default language.
You can have different images, links, or videos in each different language.
As you add new languages, you can make any language the default language.
You can always preview the module in any of the selected languages.
Case 2. You need to create a module with a different default language than the one used for your platform.
Create a new module, but before adding content, click on the default language in the top right corner and choose Manage languages.
Click Add language.
Select the wanted languages and click Apply.
Click on the newly added language and select Mark [language] as default. This will change the default language only for this module, not for other modules.
Return to the module and add your content.

Case 3. You have a module, but the language setting does not match the content.
E.g., the module is created with English as the default language, but the content is written in Danish. In this case, it is possible to change the language from "English" to "Danish". This will leave your content untouched but change the language label!
Go to the module, and if it is published, click Edit.
Select Settings from the top-right corner and go to the tab Languages. (Alternatively, click the language label in the top-right corner and choose Manage languages.)
Click on the language and select Change to other languages. You can now select the new language without anything being changed in your content.
Remember to publish the module when done.
Quick tip💡
When changing to a different language, the new language cannot be one of the existing languages for this module. In that case, you should remove the existing language first.
Publishing a module with multiple language versions
When you are done with your module and need to make it public, you may have seen that a pop-up box can appear telling you that you are missing translations.
Here, it is clarified exactly where in the module the platform has detected something missing. To make sure that you have everything translated to your liking, we advise you to check if it looks correct.
A case where you might get the pop-up even when all is filled out, is on imagery.
This happens because you might not need to change the pictures on all modules and prefer to reuse the ones that you used in the default language, the picture from the default one is shown on slides in all versions. The platform then understands that you did not make any change here and it wants to make sure that you are not publishing anything missing by mistake.
When you have confirmed that it looks good, you can go ahead and publish it despite the pop-up being there.
