Q: What does the warning mean when updating images in a training module with multiple language versions?

A: The warning might appear whenever you are using more than one language version, and the images on some of the slides have not been replaced. It is not necessary to replace them, as it will showcase the default image for the rest of the language versions. The purpose of the pop-up is to make you aware that there might be slides you need to double-check before publishing. If all looks good, then you can look past the pop-up and publish the module.

Q: Is it possible to copy an entire learning path or module, or do I need to build it from scratch each time?

A: Yes, you can easily duplicate the module with the survey by clicking on the three dots and selecting 'Duplicate'. A learning path cannot be duplicated.

Q: How can I find out which learning paths or journeys a specific module is included in?

A: You can find this information by using the 'See connections' feature. This feature allows you to see the connections between modules and the learning paths or sharings they are part of. It appears when you click the 3 dots on either a module or learning path

Q: How can I identify content creators and organise content for future reference?

A: To identify who created a module, navigate to the module overview, click on the 3 dots, and select "Set collaborators." The person listed as "(Owner)" is the creator of the content. If the owner is no longer active, no owner will be listed. For organising content, use tags to categorise your modules. Another tip is that you can create a tag for each content creator and have them tag their content accordingly, which helps in managing content efficiently.

Q: How do I import my PDFs so they can be converted into modules?

A: To create modules with PDFs, you can use 'Create with Geni' by following these steps:

  1. Go to the module overview and add a new module.

  2. Click '+ Add content' and then 'Create with Geni'.

  3. Add the PDF you wish to create content from.

Q: Can I add multiple images to the same slide?

A: You can only add one image to each slide in a module, as it ensures that your content will look nice on all devices. If you need more than one image, you should create a slide pr. Image.

Q: What are your recommendations for adding images, GIFs, videos and SCORM files to my modules?
A: Adding visuals to your content is a great way to break up the learning for users. We recommend that your content is less than 2GB pr content and also that you keep micro learning in mind whenever you add videos and SCORMs. If a video or file is more than 10 minutes long, then it is recommended that you break it up and use multiple modules.

Q: How do I add logos to all slides in my module?

A: If you need a logo on all slides in your modules, it is recommendated that you create a image that includes the logo in the desired placement, then then use this image as a background in your theme.
